Who We Are: Mission Gur Sikh Society is a non-profit organization which is working actively for the Fraser Valley Sikh community in the town of Mission B.C. The Society is involved in many local projects for the benefit of the Sikh community. Since the primary goal of the Society has been reached with the completion of the Sikh Temple, the Society continues to focus on other community projects.

Who We Are: Meals on Wheels provides low-cost, hot, noon-time meals delivered by volunteers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday except on stat holidays. On Fridays, frozen meals are also available on order. Each meal consists of soup and crackers, entrée, salad and dessert.

Mission Health Care Auxiliary


Who We Are: The Mission Health Care Auxiliary Society is an organization of men and women who help Mission Memorial Hospital provide non-medical services and comforts to the patients of the hospital. In the course of many hours of volunteering, lifelong friendships have been forged. Members can be identified by their blue vests. Money raised by the Auxiliary is used for many health-related services at the Mission Memorial Hospital and local health care facilities to purchase equipment, comforts, and bus services. The challenge continues to try to ensure that Mission Memorial Hospital remains a viable hospital that can serve the immediate needs of the community. The Mission Health Care Auxiliary Society has always been there to help and assist in anyway it can. We have much for which to thank the members of the past, and we strive to continue the tradition of hard work and service into the future.

Who We Are: Every day our centre is filled with seniors taking part in educational, recreational and social programs. We welcome you to join us any week day by stopping by our lounge or dropping in to one of our many social activity programs.  We offer numerous programs that include activities such as art classes, card tournaments, dancing and computer classes. Mission Seniors Activity Centre provides a place for seniors to socialize and share experiences and enabling you to become an active and supportive member of the community.

Who We Are: MY House project supports youth and strives to create a one-point source of information and contact for youth.  MY House is a community initiative that emerged out of the Youth Homelessness Committee.  By having the house used and monitored, it will help quell loitering and vandalism issues, and offer at-risk youth a place they can go to for meals, laundry and shower services. Adults will be available there to listen to them and offer advice.

Who We Are:  Our shows are well attended by local riders as well as by riders from throughout the lower mainland. The shows also provide a fun family oriented atmosphere with whole families being involved in the days events. These shows offer a safe and friendly environment for riders of all levels of experience to learn and exchange ideas with each other, and grow and develop their skills in their chosen discipline(s).
